In 2021, Steven Ross and Geoffrey Hagger founded Union Bespoke, bringing their unique expertise together to create luxury bespoke cabinetry.
Geoffrey’s career began as an apprentice in the furniture industry, where he honed his skills from sweeping and sanding to becoming a senior designer and furniture maker. He later launched GeoffreyG Design, and his Sussex workshop blends advanced machine technology with traditional craftsmanship. Over time, Geoffrey built a loyal clientele, including architects and both commercial and residential customers. Now, he’s partnered with Steven to share his design expertise with a broader audience.
Steven’s career journey began in clothing manufacturing, where he supplied high-end brands on the High Street. He also owned and operated Tommy Guns, a celebrity hairdressing salon in Soho, and Johnny’s Chop Shop, a trendy men’s barbershop whose haircare products were sold in over 20 countries. Alongside these ventures, Steven successfully ran a property development company, where he crossed paths with Geoffrey. After designing the kitchen and furniture for Steven’s own home, the pair recognized a gap in the market for beautifully crafted, luxury bespoke cabinetry that blends style with modern functionality. Inspired by this, they joined forces to combine Geoffrey’s expert craftsmanship with Steven’s keen eye for design and detail, thus launching Union Bespoke
